"Come over to Macedonia"
In the Footsteps of St. Paul
Greece Tour
Aug. 30 -Sept. 9, 2025
Dear Friends,
Evidence 4 Faith is pleased to announce a biblical study trip to Greece!
Evidence 4 Faith biologist Michael Lane and Dr. Steve Notley of Emmaus Journeys will team together to lead this trip to Greece August 30- September 9, 2025. You are invited to join them, inspired by Acts 16:9, and reach new levels in your faith by traveling in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul!
The Book of Acts records the story of God’s call on the Early Church to leave the comfort and familiarity of its Jewish setting in the Land of Israel and to take the Gospel into the Greco-Roman world (Acts 1:8). This historic passage required the first Christians to find the right balance between “faith and culture.” How should they introduce God’s word to those who did not know Him, and who lived in a world immersed in pagan idolatry? Equally important for their own lives, how could they be in the world and yet not be a part of it (John 17:14)?
In this Biblical study trip, we will follow in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul from his call to bring the Gospel to Macedonia (Acts 16:9-10), trace his journey through the towns and villages of Greece (Acts 16:11-17:15), and arrive atop Mars Hill to remember his sermon to the men of Athens (Acts 17:16-33). On our way, we will take time to engage the geography, archaeology, history, and ancient religious culture of Greece to better understand the challenge that faced the Early Church to answer faithfully to God’s call. At the same time, we will consider God’s call on our own lives to bring the Gospel to a world that does not yet know, “the Unknown God” (Acts 17:23).
We hope and pray you will be able to journey with us as we fellowship and study our Bible together as we walk in the footsteps of St. Paul.
Given the high interest, you are advised to submit the Emmaus online application as soon as your circumstances allow.
In His Service,
Michael Lane
